Our company has been supporting the worldwide transmission of Yosakoi in Kochi since 2018, and “Yosakoï Breakin” is one of the answers we arrived at. Yosakoï Breakin’ is a new genre of dance that combines Yosakoi and break dance. To commemorate the 160th anniversary of friendship between France and Japan, "Japonism 2018" was held in France from 2018 to 2019. In Japan, a project to introduce French culture will be held in 2021. In addition, the Rugby World Cup, which excited enthusiasm in Japan, will be held in France in 2023. And break dance will be included as an official sport event for the first time at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Yosakoï Breakin' is carrying out activities with the idea that it will serve as a bridge and a symbol of cultural and sports exchange between the two countries. It's almost time for a mixed unit of Japanese female dancers and French male dancers to fly out to the world.
